The Documents section contains copies of our Brochure, Business Card and our Boarding Agreement. We also include some thoughts on Medications, visits to the Verterinarian and Liability in straight forward language. By clicking the links to your left, you can review this information.
The Boarding Agreement represents our entire agreement and is designed to protect both parties, but most of all, to make sure we have the proper safeguards in place so we can care properly for your rabbits. They are our first priority.
Please click the Boarding Agreement link to the left, then download the Agreement and read it thoroughly before you drop your rabbits off with us. We will need a signed copy before you leave. We believe you will find it to be balanced and clearly written. We believe in full disclosure and in getting agreement up front to avoid any problems or misunderstandings. It is essential we have the appropriate permissions and release to care for your rabbits on your behalf.
Thank you.
Boarding Agreement
We believe in full disclosure and clear, written agreements with all our boarders. This way, everyone is 'on the same page' from the very start. Before we can board your rabbits, we must have a fully completed, signed boarding agreement.
Our Boarding Agreement outlines the responsibilities of both parties and brings up discussion points that might otherwise be overlooked. It also protects both parties, and most importantly, your rabbits, in the event we need to act on their behalf in your absence.
Before boarding your rabbits with us, please
download, read and sign the attached agreement. I believe you will find it balanced, fair and easy to understand. We must have a signed agreement before we can board your rabbits.
Limitions of Liability
Limitation of Liability is covered in our boarding agreement, but it is worth mentioning separately. We offer the best service and conditions possible and care for your rabbits like they were our own, so while it is very unlikely liability will ever be an issue, it needs to be considered and addressed. Anyone who has owned rabbits for long knows they are sensitive to changes in routine, surroundings, food, new people, etc. Often, their little systems can become upset for no apparent reason, even if nothing is changed, so vigilance is always required. So, we watch your babies carefully and look for any little changes in pattern, behavior or appetite that might be a clue that something may be amiss. Of course, knowing your rabbits' habits and idiosyncracies helps, which is why we ask for initial feedback from you.
A clear, balanced, written document is the best way to make sure everyone is in agreement up front. Please read the liability section of our boarding agreement before you sign it, and if you have any questions or concerns, we look forward to addressing them.
We believe in full disclosure up front.
Authorization to Treat
Authorization to treat on your behalf and expense is also covered in our boarding agreement, but deserves special mention up front.
In the event your rabbit becomes ill or shows a manifestation of a previous condition while in our care, we will need your authorization to treat on your behalf. This includes authorization to take your rabbit(s) to the vet and act as if we were you. We prefer you call you vet and notify them in advance, but it is covered in our Boarding Agreement so we aren't handcuffed should an urgent need arise. You may stipulate a "not to exceed" dollar amount for treatment, if you wish, in our standard agreement, thus protecting you from costs you are unwilling or unable to bear. We will use your vet if they are reasonably close to our home, otherwise we will use our trusted vet, who has extensive experience with rabbits.
Of course, we will attempt to reach you via cell phone or other contact number before going to the doctor, but if we cannot reach you, we will act in your rabbit's best interest.
You will be responsible for paying all veterinarian, diagnostic and medication bills, and a small fee for the extra time and effort we spend with your pet.
We thank you for your understanding and for working with us to make sure your pets are properly cared for in the event of an unanticipated situation.

We welcome you to
download and share our brochure, which provides a brief overview of what we do, our rates, and our mutual responsibilities. This information piece is a good quick guide.
Our boarding agreement, however, represents the entire agreement between you and Rabbit-Inn and overrides all other documents. Any changes will be reflected in the latest boarding agreement posted and available on this website.

We have printed business cards available for you and your friends and I will be sure you receive one or more when we meet.
